Have you done any language exchange?

In Taiwan, most of people, especial ladies, love to do language exchange because it is free to practice English. So do I.

One of my best friends is going to study in England and by this chance I contacted directly the English teacher who was hired by my company and the first time class was in Costco. He mentioned that it is really unfair because pretty ladies always can do langauge exchange for free and men should pay. Well, I agree. But men always make more money than women in the same position, right?

In Costco, we chatted and tried our best to have a theme to discuss. However, I think because we are not that familiar, it is really hard to talk and talk and talk.

So for me, it is not that effective...and thinking if there is another way to practice...
